” Alsalam Glass and Ceramic “is a manifestation of traditional craftsmanship, creating handmade home decorations and artifacts using 100% recycled glass shaped by traditional glassblowing techniques. Additionally, exquisite ceramics are crafted with passion and precision, offering over 450 items to suit various tastes in the community.
Materials Used:
A diverse range of natural materials is employed, primarily focusing on recycling glass and utilizing high-quality locally-produced or imported clay for ceramic production. Emphasis Is placed on reusing materials to support the circular economy concept, incorporating other materials such as wood, plastic, and clay for décorative colors.
Production Process:
The project distinguishes Itself with a highly precise manual production process, carefully selecting materials to achieve the highest levels of uniqueness and quality.
Product Range:
The project stands out with a diverse and extensive range of handmade products suitable for both local and international markets.
Experience and Participation:
Educational and Administrative Experience: Holding a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Al-Quds Open University, with more than 15 years of experience in management, international exhibitions, and expertise in glass and ceramics manufacturing.
Project Participation: Engaged In projects with Birzeit University, such as CARISMED project, this project richness my experience. Currently, a founding member of the Creativity and Innovation Lab.
Economic Participation: Actively involved in the Chamber of Commerce, contributing to business support and promoting cooperation within the business community. A member of the General Authority for PalTrade, consistently participating in successful international exhibitions.
Future Aspirations:
Aspiring to develop the craft sector in the Palestinian community, supporting sustainability, transitioning from a consumer society to a productive one, and promoting locally-produced items internationally.
